How to Check Ink in an HP Printer

1. Click 'Start,' then select 'Programs.'
2. Click 'HP' from the list of programs, then select 'HP Solution Center.'
3. Click 'Settings,' then 'Printer Toolbox.' Click the 'Device Services' tab, then click the 'Estimated Ink Levels' tab. Your HP printer's ink levels display in the window.
Use Application
1. Launch the application that you want to use to print your documents.
2. Click 'File' from the main menu bar, then select 'Print' from the drop-down list.
3. Click the 'Properties' button, then click the 'Services' tab.
4. Click the 'Service This Device' icon. Click the 'Estimated Ink Levels' tab to see the ink levels in your HP printer.
