How to Install a Wireless Printer With an IP Address

1. Log on to your computer and click on the 'Start' button. Choose 'Control Panel' from the menu and double-click the 'Printers and Faxes' icon.
2. Click on the 'Add printer' button and choose 'Local Printer' from the menu. Make sure the 'Automatically detect' check box is not checked and click 'Next.'
3. Choose 'Create a new port' at the next screen and choose 'Standard TCP/IP port' from the drop-down list. Click 'Next' to continue.
4. Enter the IP address of the wireless printer. Click 'Next' to continue. Choose the option to print a test page to make sure the printer is set up correctly.
