1. Press the yellow 'reset' key located to the right of the number pad. This returns the M3027x to its default configuration and should solve any problems caused by improper user input. If there is still a problem, a full reset is necessary.
2. Press the red 'stop' button to pause any pending documents, and then set the 'on/off' switch located near the bottom right of the printer to the 'off' position.
3. Unplug the printer from its power source and disconnect any USB or network connection cables from the ports located on the back of the printer.
4. Wait for a minute before plugging the M3027x back into its power source and flicking the 'on/off' switch to the 'on' setting. The device should now be returned to its original factory settings. Plug in any USB and network cables that you disconnected earlier.
