1. Click on the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop. If the icon is not located on the desktop, open the 'Start' menu in the lower-left corner of the screen.
2. Open the 'Control Panel' folder.
3. Open the 'Add/Remove Programs' application. Depending on your version of Windows, it may have a different title. With Windows 7, click on 'Uninstall a Program' directly beneath the 'Programs' section in the Control Panel. With any other version of Windows, click on the 'Add/Remove Programs' icon.
4. Find 'HP Smart Web Printing' in the list of programs. Click on 'Remove' to start the removal process. Follow the directions on the screen to completely remove it.
