How to Print on Fabric With Epson

1. Iron the fabric so that there are no creases. Select a thin fabric that is light in color. You can print up to the size of paper your Epson ink jet printer can handle.
2. Apply a removable fabric adhesive between your paper size and your fabric. Most printers use standard paper sized 8 1/2 by 11 inches. Attach your fabric to your paper so that the fabric is rigid enough to go through your printer.
3. Prepare the design you want to print. It is often a good idea to insert the design into a document so that you can position the design on the paper. If you are using Microsoft Word, simply open a new document, click on 'Insert,' click on 'Picture.' This will insert the image. Use your center, left or right positioning icons to position the image on the page.
4. Place your fabric-covered paper into your printer paper area. Make sure the fabric is on the side the printer prints on. If you aren't sure, print on a blank piece of paper to test it. Print your image.
5. Allow the image to dry for 5 to 10 minutes and then peel the paper off the back of the fabric. You can then use your fabric for your projects.
