How to Send a Fax With the Brother Intellifax 770

1. Load the document into the top loader face down, with the top end first.
2. Adjust the document guides to the dimensions of your document.
3. Enter the fax number using the dial pad, one-touch, speed dial or Tel-index.
4. Press 'Start.' Your fax will now be sent.
Manual Transmission
1. Use the manual transmission to hear the dial tone, and become familiar with the sound of the fax receiving a transmission.
2. Load document face down, top first, into the document loader.
3. Adjust the document guides to the dimensions of your document.
4. Listen for a dial tone using the handset or by hitting the 'Hook' button.
5. Enter the fax number.
6. Hit 'Start' after you hear the fax tone.
7. Hang up handset, if you have been using.
8. If you have any problems with transmission, you can press the 'Redial/Pause' button to try again.
