How to Troubleshoot Your Continuous Ink Flow Cartridges

1. Turn off your printer and open the door so you can see the printer cartridge.
2. Pull the continuous flow cartridge out of the printer. Be gentle with the cartridge to prevent any ink from spilling.
3. Disconnect each of the plastic tubes from the cartridge by pulling them off the small tubes sticking out of the top.
4. Dip the nozzles of the cartridge into a bowl of warm water, making sure only the nozzle is submerged in the water. Rub the nozzles clean and dry with a cotton swab.
5. Fill the ink supply bottles with a syringe with the color of ink that needs refilling. Each bottle should be at full capacity.
6. Place the cartridge in front of you so it is standing as it would be if in the printer. Run your hand along the tube assembly to keep it straight and untwisted. Bring the loose ends of the tubes to the ink cartridge.
7. Connect each tube to the appropriate connection on the cartridge. Keep the tubes flat and connect the right color to the right section of the cartridge.
8. Place the cartridge into the printer, being careful not to turn it or disturb the alignment of the tubes as the cartridge is placed into position.
9. Plug the printer back in and turn on your computer. Open the Control Panel of your printer.
10. Select the option for a nozzle check and let the printer run a test page.
