1. Connect your print server to your DSL or cable modem using an Ethernet cable. Use one of the 'Out' ports on the modem. Your server should only have one Ethernet port, so you shouldn't have difficulty finding it.
2. Connect your printer and on your printer server with a USB data cable.
3. Examine your wireless printer server to find an Internet address. Enter this address into an Internet browser on one of the computers you wish to connect remotely to the printer. This should bring up a page allowing you to modify the settings of your wireless printer server.
4. Enter a username and password for the device. There should be an option to connect your server to the computers that are already remotely connected to your modem by way of the wireless router. Choose this option, and you will have successfully activated your wireless printer server. Your Canon Pixma I4300 should now be able to print photos and pictures without wiring the printer to the computer.
