1. Make sure that the ink chip resetter is facing in such a way that the device’s pins are pointing up.
2. Look for the chips on the side of the cartridges. They are copper colored. Take the chip resetter and push the device’s pins into the chip on the Canon cartridge. Ensure that they both connect fully.
3. Allow 10 seconds to pass. The light on the device will turn green. This indicates that the Canon 104 ink cartridge chip has been successfully reset. Afterward, place the ink cartridge back into the printer and print out a test page to clean and test the cartridge.
where's and what's ink chip resetter? Is it on the cartridge, or do we have to purchase it? ALso, where's the device's pins? Can this be found without unscrewing any things? No copper colored chips can be seen on side?
