1. Remove the air inside the cartridges in the system if you notice white lines or bands in your printouts. Use the syringe to suck up air at the bottom of the continuous ink tank. If any ink is pulled into the syringe, re-inject it at the top of the ink tank, doing so slowly to prevent air bubbles. Try printing a document.
2. Adjust the tubing that connects the continuous ink cartridge inside the printer to the ink tanks outside of the printer, if the tubing is jammed inside the printer. Ensure that the tubing is not too long or too short to avoid getting the tubes caught while trying to print a document.
3. Remove the top cover of the ink tank to dissipate air bubbles or foam in the cartridges if the printer will not print. Leave the ink tank open for two hours to fully eliminate the air bubbles. Try printing a document.
4. Add ink to the cartridge slowly if the printer is out of ink. Injecting the ink slowly will help prevent air from entering the system. Always use the provided syringe to remove any air that gets into the continuous ink system.
