1. Double-click your hard drive icon in the upper right corner of your desktop to open it. It should read 'Macintosh HD,' unless you have manually changed the title, and feature an image of a gray computer drive.
2. Click your main user folder. It appears in the left column of your 'Macintosh HD' folder, beneath the 'Places' heading, and features an image of a small house. The title of the folder should match your Apple user name, which you selected when your installed Mac OS X, or when you created your unique user account in the 'Accounts' panel of your 'System Preferences.'
3. Double-click the 'Library' folder to open it and then scroll down until you locate the 'Printers' folder (click the 'Down' arrow in the lower right corner of the window to scroll). Double-click the 'Printers' folder to open it.
4. Click the printer driver that you want to remove and use your mouse to drag it to the trash. Depending on your Apple dock settings, your trash can should appear near the lower right corner of your desktop, or near the lower left corner of your desktop. The printer driver should share the name of the printer with which it corresponds. For example, if you want to remove a driver for an HP Desktop D2300, your driver will read 'HP Desktop D2300 series.'
5. Empty your trash. Click your mouse anywhere on your desktop to select your Finder, and click the 'Finder' heading on the menu bar at the top of the screen. Select 'Empty Trash' from the drop-down menu and click the 'OK' button on the pop-up menu.
