How to Replace a Drum Brother HL

1. Flip down the front cover of your Brother HL-2070N printer. Cover an area of the tabletop near your printer with a few pieces of paper.
2. Push the 'Go' button on the control panel until all of the LEDs light up--approximately four seconds--to reset the drum counter.
3. Pull the drum unit assembly that includes the drum and toner cartridges from your printer.
4. Press the blue locking lever to release the toner cartridge from the drum unit. Pull the cartridge from the unit carefully and set it aside on the paper-covered tabletop. Set the drum unit aside for disposal.
5. Remove the new drum unit from its packaging.
6. Insert the toner cartridge carefully into the toner cartridge slot on the unit until the blue lock lever lifts automatically.
7. Return the drum unit assembly to its cavity in the printer.
8. Flip up the front cover. The 'Drum' LED should no longer blink now that you've replaced the drum.
