Even if you didn't purchase your electronics at Best Buy, it will take them and recycle them safely. If your computer and printer are still in good condition, you may be able to trade them in for Best Buy store credit.
2. Contact Boca Raton Recycling if you are a business wanting to recycle your old computers. Boca Raton Recycling makes arrangements with your IT department to pick up and analyze your old computers before hauling them off for recycling and refurbishing. In some cases, Boca Raton Recycling may even pay you for your old computers. It also recycles old printers, but you may be required to pay a small fee to have printers recycled through Boca Raton Recycling.
3. Take your old computers and printers to a Staples store in Boca Raton. Staples accepts old computers for recycling but charges a small fee if you did not buy the computer from Staples. 4. Call 1-800-GOT-JUNK. 1-800-GOT-JUNK is a Palm Beach County recycling service that picks up your junk, including old computers and printers. A service representative analyzes what you want taken away and will tell you much it will cost. The company safely recycles or donates usable items to local charities to keep them out of landfills.
5. Donate your computers to PC Medix Inc. at 1310 NW Boca Raton Blvd. Boca Raton, Florida, 33432. PC Medix Inc. not only recycles unusable computers and printers, but refurbishes and distributes usable items to local charities and community programs in need of computers.
