How to Reset a Smart Phone

1. Turn the phone over so that you are looking at its back side. If you have a phone protector or cover on the smart phone, remove it.
2. Open the battery casing by removing the back plastic cover. Usually, these slide down toward the bottom of the phone or will have an arrow pointing in the right direction to slide the cover.
3. Remove the battery and keep it out for at least a minute. This will give the phone time for all of the electricity to escape the circuits.
4. Place the battery back in the phone and reattach the cover. Power up the phone to complete the reset.
