How to Save DPI in Photoshop

1. Launch Adobe Photoshop. Drop-down the 'File' menu and select 'Open' to browse your computer's hard drive for the image you wish to modify. Select the image within the dialog box, then click the 'Open' button.
2. Open the 'Image' menu and select 'Image Size.' Notice the 'Resolution' box in the 'Document Size' pane. Select 'Pixels/Inch' from the menu next to the box, then type in the numerical value of your desired DPI resolution. Click 'OK.'
3. Modify your image's resolution using a sliding 'quality' scale if you're not sure of a specific, numerical value. Open the 'File' menu and select 'Save As.' Name your file and select 'JPEG' from the format list, then click 'Save.'
4. Move the vertical bar to select a quality for your image--10 is the highest. Click 'OK.' Open a new 'Image Size' dialog box as per Step 2 to see your image's numerical resolution.
