How to Scan With HP All

1. Insert the HP installation CD into your optical drive to launch the setup wizard.
2. Click 'Next' to start the installation. Connect the printer to the computer using the USB cable when prompted. Click 'Finish' when the setup procedure is complete.
3. Open the top cover of the HP all-in-one printer and place the image or document you want to scan face down on the scanner glass.
4. Close the printer cover and press the 'Scan/Reprint' button on the printer control panel.
5. Press the 'Scan to PC' button. The HP Photosmart Studio and Scan Pro software will launch. A preliminary image of the scanned document will appear on screen.
6. Adjust the scan boundaries by increasing or decreasing the output settings or by dragging the boundary lines to capture the desired portion of the document. Then click 'Save' to save the scanned image to your computer.
