1. Open a document to begin the check to see if your printer will print on two sides of the page. Alternatively, you can go to 'Control Panel' and click 'Printers and Faxes'. On a Mac, click the 'Apple' icon, followed by 'System Preferences' and then 'Print & Fax'.
2. Choose 'File', 'Print' and then 'Properties' from the dialogue box.
3. Click on a tab that will read either 'Finishing', 'Printer Defaults' or 'Advanced'.
4. Look to see if there are options such as 'duplex printing', 'print on both sides of the paper' or 'two-sided page printing'.
5. Enable the option by selecting it from a drop down menu or checking a box next to it. If these options are not available, you will not be able to enable your printer to automatically print on both sides of the paper.
