1. Check the cable connection between the computer and the USB printer. Ensure the USB cable connects securely into both the USB port on the computer and on the printer.
2. Insert the driver installation CD into the computer. Once the computer detects the CD a driver installation window appears in the middle of the computer screen.
3. Click 'Next,' then accept the license agreement (if one is provided). Refusing to accept the agreement results in your inability to install the printer support drivers.
4. Follow the prompts, leaving everything at the default settings. Changing the default settings (such as installation location) may result in the computer being unable to detect the support drivers.
5. Click 'Install' and the USB printer support drivers install onto the computer
