Brother MFC

1. Grasp the top edge of the printer's front cover and pull it toward you to open it.
2. Pull out the drum unit/toner cartridge assembly by grasping the notch on the front of the assembly and pulling it straight out the front of the printer. Lay the assembly on a flat surface covered with newspapers or another protective barrier.
3. Depress the locking lever on the left side of the assembly as you lift the toner cartridge out.
4. Remove the new drum unit from its packaging and insert the toner cartridge. When the toner cartridge is fully seated, you will hear a click and the locking lever on the left side of the assembly will snap back into the closed position.
5. Align the tabs on the sides of the assembly with the grooves on each interior side of the printer and slide the assembly into place.
6. Press the 'Options' button on the printer's control panel. The replace drum confirmation will appear. Press '1' on the keypad to confirm that you have installed a new drum unit.
7. Close the front cover when you see 'Accepted' appear on the LCD display.
