1. Slide open the plastic paper guides in the printer's paper tray to the widest possible setting, all the way to the sides of the paper tray.
2. Slide out the plastic paper-length adjuster.
3. Insert a 1/2-inch stack of 4-by-6-inch paper into the paper tray of the printer.
4. Slide the plastic paper guides and length adjuster toward the stack of paper until the paper fits snugly in the paper tray.
5. Launch your photo or print-project program. Open the file that you wish to print on the 4-inch by 6-inch paper.
6. Click the 'File' menu and choose 'Print Options,' 'Print Preferences' or the 'Print' option to open the 'Print' dialog box.
7. Click to select your printer from the available printer list, then click 'Properties,' 'Preferences,' or 'Setup' to open the 'Printer Properties' dialog box.
8. Click the 'Page' tab and choose 'Custom Size' from the drop-down 'Page Size' menu.
9. Type '4'' in the 'Width' text field. Type '6'' in the 'Height' text field. Click to select 'Portrait' or 'Landscape' orientation for the print project.
10. Click the 'OK' button, then click 'OK' or 'Print' to print the open file on the 4-by-6-inch paper.
