How to Check How Much Ink Is in the Printer (9 Steps)

1. Make sure your USB printer is connected to your computer and powered on.
2. Open the 'Start' menu and click on the 'Printers and Faxes' button.
3. Right-click on the icon of the printer you want to check and choose 'Properties' or 'Printing Preferences.' The name of the option may differ based on the type of printer you have.
