How to Use Hostname to Add a Printer on a Canon IRC 3380

1. Click the Windows-logo button in the lower-left-hand corner of the screen, and then click 'Control Panel.' Click 'Hardware and Sound,' then click 'Printers.'
2. Click 'Add Printer' at the top of your Explorer window. This opens a configuration wizard window.
3. Select 'Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer' and click 'Next.' Enter the location of your printer using the host name. The format to add a printer is '\computer\printer' where 'computer' is the host name and 'printer' is the name of the Canon printer.
4. Click 'Next.' On the final screen, click 'Finish.' The wizard window closes and you are shown a list of printers installed on your computer. Right-click the new Canon printer and select 'Print Test Page' to check your installation.
