How to Make Non Toxic Weed Killer for a Lawn

Mix until salt has dissolved completely.
Measure and mix 1 gallon white vinegar, 1 cup table salt and 1 tbsp. liquid dish soap together in a large bowl. Stir ingredients with a mixing spoon to completely dissolve the salt. Funnel the mixture into a spray bottle.

Do not get the vinegar solution on parts of the lawn you wish to keep healthy.
Spray the solution directly on weeds, preferably on a hot day to encourage the drying out of weeds. Do not get solution on nearby grass or soil.

Use a cloth to wipe down weed leaves.
Wipe down leaves of of weeds with a cloth sprayed with the mixture if you are concerned about solution dripping on parts of your lawn you want to keep green and healthy. Wiping the plant down keeps the solution only on the weeds.
