How to Print on Banner Paper

1. Check your printer's user guide to ensure your printer will work with banner paper.
2. Create your banner using software or an online program.
3. Determine a size for the banner. Normal banners measure about 36 to 48 inches long. For instance, if you want to print a message such as 'Go Marketing Team' and you intend to place the banner above the water cooler in the office, limit the banner to 36 inches. However, if you were to print a longer message, such as 'Congratulations, Stephanie and Alexander,' and intend to place the banner behind a stage in a community building, make the banner at least 72 inches long.
4. Load the banner paper into the printer. Adjust the feed guides to match the banner paper. Provide a clear path for the banner paper, which will allow it to flow freely into the printer. Line up the paper completely straight with the printer to avoid paper jams.
5. Remove the banner paper once you have printed it. Store banner paper in a flat, dry area.
