How to Fill a Kodak Ink Cartridge Number10

1. Layer the area where you are going to work with newspaper or old cloths. Place the Kodak number 10 cartridge upright so that the label is on top.
2. Drill a hole into the top of the cartridge with a thumb drill. Continue drilling only until the hole is deep enough that it goes all the way through the plastic cartridge. PrintCountry recommends drilling over the first 'K' in 'Kodak.'
3. Snap the needle onto the syringe. Place the needle of the syringe into a bottle of Kodak black ink and fill until the syringe holds 10 to 15 ml of ink.
4. Move the needle to the hole you created on the cartridge and push it all the way in until the needle touches bottom. Then, pull out slightly.
5. Push the plunger on the syringe very slowly to fill the cartridge with the ink. Once you have added all of the ink to the cartridge, cover the hole you made with a piece of scotch tape.

1. Cover the area where you want to work with newspapers or cloths. Place the printer cartridge upright on the covered surface.
2. Pull the plastic cover from the top of the cartridge. If you cannot remove it with your fingers, slide a sharp knife between the colored and black parts of the plastic and pry.
3. Place the needle on the syringe and turn to snap it in place. Dip the needle into one of the fill holes that you find beneath the plastic cover to determine which ink goes in that hole. Open the appropriate ink color, yellow, cyan or magenta, and fill the syringe to 5 ml. Dip the needle into the first fill hole until it reaches bottom, pull back slightly and inject the ink into the cartridge.
4. Repeat the fill procedure for the other two colors by attaching a needle to a syringe, testing the color and filling the hole with the appropriate color. When you have filled all colors, snap the plastic cover back into place and secure it with tape if necessary.
