How to Use Black Ink Only on an Epson 500 (7 Steps)

1. Turn on the printer.
2. Open the document, photo or Web page you wish to print.
3. Click on the 'File' menu option, located on the application toolbar. Choose the 'Print' option listed on the drop-down menu.
4. Click on the 'Epson WorkForce 500 Series' option, listed under 'Select Printer.' Click on the 'Preferences' or 'Properties' button displayed within the dialog box.
5. Click on the 'Main' tab and check the box next to the 'Black Ink Only' option.
6. Click 'Ok' to save the printer settings.
