How to Convert a .DPD File Extension (4 Steps)

1. Go to the folder in which the .DPD file is stored and expand the 'Tools' option on the top section of the folder. Next, click on the 'Folder Options.'
2. Click 'View' in the Folder Options to open all of the different settings you can change in the folder.
3. Uncheck 'Hide known file extensions' and hit 'OK.' Revert to the .DPD file, which will now appear with the .DPD file extension in its title (File.DPD).
4. Right-click the file with the .DPD extension and open the 'Rename' option. Remove the .DPD part and type in a file extension that you think the data in the file correlates to. This changes the file extension.
