1. Remove the ink cartridge from the printer.
2. Soak a cotton swab in warm water. You will only need one end of the swab to be wet.
3. Rub the cotton swab across the area of the ink cartridge where the ink is emitted. This will rub off any dry ink; the water should help stimulate the wet ink.
4. Dry off the ink cartridge with a paper towel. Be careful the ink doesn't get on your clothing.
5. Insert the printer cartridge back into the printer. Print a test page; the printer should function properly again.
