How Do I Increase DPI in Photoshop?

1. Open Photoshop. Click the 'File' menu. Click 'Open.' Double-click the name of the file to increase its dots per inch. The picture opens on the Photoshop workdesk.
2. Click the 'Image' menu. Click 'Image Size' to open the small 'Image Size' window.
3. Highlight and type over the number in the 'Resolution' box under the 'Document Size' portion. Note the change to the 'Pixel Dimensions' number at the top of the window -- increasing DPI increases the file size.
4. Click the 'OK' button. The image will automatically be enlarged on the workdesk.
5. From the 'File' menu, click 'Save As.' Give the image a new name so the old DPI version is still available, and click the 'Save' button.
