1. Turn your Pixma on.
2. Lift the printer cover, which encompasses the top third of the machine. As you open the cover, the paper output tray will open and the print head will shift to the center for easy access.
3. Lower the front cover, located in the front middle of the machine.
4. Locate the cartridges in need of removal and press the corresponding tabs direct in front of each to release them.
5. Grab each cartridge by its sides and gently slide it out of the compartment to remove from your Canon Pixma MP530 printer.
