1. Click 'File' from the menu of any program that you print from. Select 'Print' and then click 'Properties.'
2. Click the 'Services' tab. Click 'Open the HP Toolbox.'
3. Click 'Clean the Print Cartridges.' The onscreen menu will indicate when the cleaning cycle is complete.
Macintosh
1. Double click the 'OS X HD' desktop icon.
2. Select 'Applications.' Double-click the 'Utilities' icon.
3. Click 'hp inkjet utility.' Select the 'Clean' tab.
4. Click 'Clean.' The onscreen menu will notify you when the cycle is complete.
So it turns out that if you're using one of these in Windows 10 using the alternative printer driver trick then you appear to have no management tools on the computer.
ReplyDeleteA colleague told me about some of the button press combinations, while holding down the power button press the cancel button a number of times then the feed button a number of times.
