How to Print on a CD With a Canon iP4600

1. Open the East-PhotoPrint EX software that you installed with your printer. You can either double-click the icon on the desktop, or go through the start menu to Programs> Canon Utilities> Easy-PhotoPrint EX> Easy-PhotoPrint EX.
2. Click the 'Photo Print' icon in the program window. The 'Select Images' screen will appear, which resembles a Windows Explorer screen where the folders are on the left side, and the photos in the folders are on the right.
3. Navigate to the folder, on the left side of the screen, that contains the image you want to put on the CD. Then click on the image on the right side of the screen. You will see the image appear in the 'Selections' window at the bottom of the screen.
4. Click 'Select Paper' on the menu on the far left side of the window. Choose 'CD-R' in the left window and 'Printable Disc' in the right window.
5. Select 'Layout/Print' on the left side of the window and choose one of the eight available CD layouts that appear on the screen. Type in up to two titles in the spaces to the right of the layouts and press the 'Print' button on the left side of the window. A message will appear asking you to set the DVD/CD tray.
6. Pull down on the paper output tray located on the front of the iP4600. Then pull down on the smaller inner cover that you can see when the output tray is open.
7. Hold the CD-R tray so that the side with a 'G' is facing up. Place a printable CD on the tray with the printable side facing up.
8. Insert the CD-R tray into the slot revealed when you pulled down the inner cover. The large arrow in the middle of the tray should be pointing toward the printer. Slide the CD-R tray into the printer until the small arrow on the right side of the tray aligns with the small arrow on the inside face of the inner cover.
9. Click 'OK' on your computer when the CD-R tray is set. Your image will now print on the CD. Remove the tray and close the covers when you are done.
