1. Open the Start menu and type 'notepad.'
2. Right-click 'Notepad' from the 'Programs' result list, then click 'Run as administrator' from the menu.
3. Supply your administrator credentials if prompted.
4. Click 'Ctrl'+'O' to open an 'Open' dialog window.
5. Type '%windir%\System32\drivers\etc\hosts' and press 'Enter' in the 'File name' bar at the bottom of the window.
6. Type the following into a new line at the bottom of the document:127.0.0.1 craigslist.org127.0.0.1 www.craigslist.org
7. Click 'File,' then 'Save.' Whenever your computer attempts to look up the Internet Protocol address of 'craigslist.org' or 'www.craigslist.org' it will be blocked and the request sent back to your computer.
