1. Click 'Start' from your desktop and then click 'Control Panel'. The Control Panel dialog box will then appear.
2. Double-click 'Printers' and right-click on your printer's name.
3. Click the 'Printing Preferences' option and the Preferences dialog box will appear.
4. Select the radio button next to 'Black and White' below the 'Default Printing' section.
5. Click 'OK.' All documents will print with black ink unless you change the default setting.
