How to Change the Drive Letter on a Multimedia Card Reader

1. Insert a card in the card reader. This will make Windows display the drive, if it doesn't by default.
2. Click on 'Start' and select the 'Control Panel' option.
3. Select 'Large Icon' in the drop-down menu in the upper-right corner of the Control Panel on Windows Vista and 7. For Windows XP, click on the 'Classic View' on the upper-left corner of the window. Windows 2000 has the classic view by default.
4. Click on 'Administrative Tools' and then on 'Computer Management.'
5. Select 'Disk Management' under 'Storage' in the left pane of the new window.
6. Right-click the multimedia card reader in the lower pane of the right pane and select 'Change Drive Letter and Paths.'
7. Click on 'Change...' In the new window, select the letter you want to use from the drop-down menu.
8. Click 'OK' twice when you have the letter you want.
