How to Remove a Printer Driver in Windows XP (4 Steps)

1. Click on your 'Start' menu, then 'Settings' and then 'Printers and Faxes' menu. This will show all printers and fax machines currently associated with your computer.
2. Delete the printer from your computer if it is currently associated with your computer. Right-click on the printer's icon and select 'Delete.' Confirm the deletion by selecting 'Yes' in the pop-up window.
3. Access the 'Server Properties' menu from the drop-down 'File' menu at the top of the window. Select the 'Drivers' tab at the top of the window. This will display all printer drivers currently installed on your computer.
4. Highlight the printer driver you wish to remove by click on it once. Select the 'Remove' button beneath the list of drivers. Click 'Yes' in the pop-up window to delete the driver. Repeat this step to delete additional drivers, if necessary.
