How to Set Up a Network Printer on an ATT Wireless Gateway

1. Refer to your printer owners manual for set-up of connecting to a secured network. Some printers will have a display where information can be manually entered into the printer. Other printers will have to be plugged into the AT&T Gateway to be set up through a networked computer, then allowed to operate as a wireless printer.
2. Program the printer to access 2wire*** (The last three of the modem's serial number) and authentication with WEP, encryption mode TKIP.
3. Enter the serial number of the Wireless Gateway into the printer as the WEP pass phrase to finalize the connection to the network.
4. Click 'Start' on your networked computer and select 'Devices and Printers.'
5. Click on 'Add a Printer' to begin the setup of the networked printer.
6. Click 'Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer' in the wizard, click on the network printer and then 'Next.'
7. Install the printer driver if the printer has never been installed locally.
8. Complete the remaining steps in the Windows 7 wizard.
