How to Determine Toner Levels on an HP P2015 (5 Steps)

1. Turn on your HP P2015 printer.
2. Check the printer control panel. If the 'Toner' light is on, the toner cartridge is low on toner and requires replacement.
3. Open the HP ToolboxFX on your computer. Select the 'Status' section and check for the estimated toner level within the cartridge on the 'Supplies Status' page.
4. Set up HP ToolboxFX Alerts that automatically alert you to low toner levels via a pop-up window on your computer or email. Select the 'Alerts' section in the HP ToolboxFX. Choose your settings--computer or email--and then click 'Apply' to save your settings.
5. Press and hold the 'Go' button on the control panel for at least 5 seconds to print out a printer 'Configuration Page' report that includes a 'Supplies Status' page with the estimated toner level.
