1. Follow the instructions of the chip resetter’s manual to reset the cartridge’s chip. Each resetter tool is designed differently. When you purchase one, it will come with its own instructions, but in general you need to press the pins of the resetter against the cartridge’s chip. Then you will have to press a button on the resetter device to reset the chip.
2. Use a thumb drill to a drill a refill hole into the cartridge. The hole has to be made right above the word “PUSH” on the cartridge. Then drill another hole right in front of it. The first hole is the refill hole while the second hole is a vent for air.
3. Fill the syringe with 25 ml of ink.
4. Put the syringe needle into the refill hole (first hole). You will only be able to insert the needle about 1/4 inch into the hole.
5. Fill the cartridge slowly and remove the syringe when the cartridge is full. Do not let it overflow.
6. Put the cartridge back in the printer. Let it sit there for one day before using the printer. Before printing any important document, run two or three cleaning cycles to clean the print head.
