How to Connect the Wonderwall Projector to Your Computer

1. Determine the type of video output of your computer. The most common are VGA, DVI and S-video. Once you know what type of video-out connector your computer has, you need to purchase a cable or an adapter that allows you to connect an RCA cable to this type of connector. You should be able to acquire one online for a few dollars.
2. Turn off the computer and the projector. It's a good idea to do this anytime youre connecting devices to your computer. If the projector has been used recently, allow it to cool down for several minutes. This is to protect you and the projector's internal components.
3. Connect the computer to the projector using the appropriate cable and adapter. If you wish to use the projector's speakers, you will also need to connect an audio cable to the computer's headphone or audio line-out jack. If you use a standard 3.5mm dual male audio cable, you will need an adapter that allows you to plug the cable into the projector's RCA jack.
4. Turn on your computer and the projector. Set the video output on your computer to the mirror external monitor mode. This will cause the projector to display the same image that's shown on your computer screen. You can usually use a combination of the 'Fn' key and one of the 'F' keys at the top of the keyboard to cycle through the video options. The specific key varies according to the computer brand but should have a monitor icon on it. You can also enter the control panel and choose the video output option in the video settings menu.
