1. Purchase Xstamper refill ink. The manufacturer recommends that you use its brand in the same color as the original ink in the stamp. Using other brands or colors of ink can reduce the quality of the stamp produced.
2. Refill the ink pad with ink when the marks being produced from the stamper are becoming faint. Depending on the model of Xstamper, the method of accessing the refill pad can vary. On some models, you can access the pad by lifting the handle away from the ink pad, while on others you can reach it by sliding the ink pad out of the handle.
3. Dampen the ink pad with four to six drops of ink. The ink should absorb into the pad. If the ink begins to puddle or overflow, stop refilling immediately. This is too much ink.
4. Put the stamper back together. Either slide the ink pad access area back into the stamper, or place the handle over the ink pad and snap it back together.
5. Stamp onto a piece of scrap paper until the ink flow from the stamp is suitable.
