How to Set Up Your Verizon Voice Mailbox (5 Steps)

1. Press *86 on your Verizon wireless phone, then press the 'send' button.
2. Follow the verbal instructions to establish a password and set up greeting and mail box options.
3. To establish a password, enter the password on the keypad and press #.
4. To record a greeting, press 3 and follow the prompts that allow a user to change the personal greeting, create an extended absence greeting or change the recorded name.
5. To retrieve phone's voice mail, press *86 on the phone and enter password. Then press #.
