How to Send a Test Fax Online

1. Save your document as a .pdf or .doc file. These are the two formats that are allowed by online fax websites to send your test fax.
2. Go to the fax website and upload your document to their server. The website will require your file is not over a certain number of megabytes, so let the size of your file determine what format you use.
3. Enter your personal information to let the fax recipient know who sent the fax. This will appear on the cover page to be sent with your test fax generated by the fax website.
4. Enter information about the fax recipient, including the phone number with area code of the recipient's fax machine, for delivery of your test fax.
5. Send your test fax. Make sure all information, including the receiver's fax number, is correct before sending it.
6. Check your email to receive confirmation that your test fax has been sent.
