How to Tell How Much Ink Is Left in Your Printer

1. Go to the Start menu and select 'Control Panel.'
2. Double-click on the 'Printers and Faxes' icon to open the printer utility program.
3. Find the printer you want to check the ink levels of in the new window.
4. Right-click on the printer's icon and choose 'Properties.' Current ink levels for your printer should appear in this window.
Mac Instructions
1. Open 'System Preferences' by clicking on the icon in the dock.
2. Go to the 'Print & Fax' panel under the 'Hardware' heading.
3. Select the printer you want to check and click the 'Open Print Queue' button.
4. Click on the 'Supply Levels' in the upper-right corner of the printer queue window. This will open another window displaying your current ink levels.
5. Click the 'OK' button to return to the printer queue and continue printing.
