How to Use ICC Profiles With Canon Printers

1. Download the ICC profile for your printer. This can be found on the paper manufacturer's website. If you cannot find a profile for your printer, you can have a profile created for your specific printer and paper combination.
2. Navigate to the ColorSync folder. This is either in 'Library' > 'Application Support' on a Mac or in 'Applications' > 'Photoshop' in Windows.
3. Copy your ICC profile to the ColorSync folder. Simply drag your downloaded ICC profile to the folder, or copy and paste.
4. Open your document in Photoshop.
5. Select 'File' > 'Print.'
6. In the dialog box, select 'Photoshop Manages Colors' in the right-hand pane.
7. In the drop-down box below, select your ICC profile. The profiles are listed in alphabetical order, and it will have the same name as the ICC profile you downloaded, with no changes except for the removal of the .icc suffix.
8. Click 'Print.'
