How do I Configure an HP 4000 TCP/IP Printer?

1. Walk over to the HP 4000 and press the 'Menu' button. Use the arrow keys until you reach the 'IO-EIO' menu.
2. Click the 'Item' value and go to the 'Configure Network' option. Use the 'Value' menu to select 'Yes.'
3. Use the arrow keys on the 'Item' buttons until the 'Configure TCP/IP' option appears. Use the 'Value' button to change the option to 'Yes.'
4. Use the 'Value' button to change the 'DHCP' setting to 'No.' Click the 'Item' button until you see 'TCP/IP Byte 1.' Set the first TCP/IP number to match the IP address you want to use by using the 'Value' button. Continue the same process to set the remaining three bytes in the IP address. The IP address consists of four numbers between 0 and 255, each separated by a period (i.e. 10.25.66.82). Your network administrator can give you the address to use.
5. Press the 'Menu' key until the 'Information' menu appears. Use the 'Item' button to select 'Print configuration page' then press the 'Go' button. Check the TCP/IP settings listed on the configuration page to make sure they are correct.
