1. Read the instructions that came with your printer. Install the software that came with your printer to your Mac Mini.
2. Plug one end of the FireWire or USB cable into the printer and the other end into your Mac Mini.
3. Turn on your printer.
4. Open a document and click 'File' and then 'Print.'
5. Click your printer from the dialogue window. If it's not listed, click 'Add Printer.' Then click 'More Printers' from the toolbar. Click your printer and click 'Add.'
Bluetooth Printers
1. Install any software that came with your printer to your Mac Mini.
2. Turn on your Bluetooth printer.
3. Open a document and click 'File' and then 'Print.'
4. Click 'Bluetooth' in the dialogue window.
5. Click on your printer. Then click 'Add.'
Wi-Fi Printers
1. Connect your Wi-Fi printer to your home wireless network using the instructions that came with the printer. You need the name of your wireless network, and the password if your network is password-protected.
2. Open any document on your Mac Mini. Click 'File' and then 'Print.'
3. Click your printer from the list of 'Nearby Printers' in the dialogue window. Click 'Add.'
