How to Change the Wireless Settings for an HP Photosmart Plus B209a

1. Sign on to a computer connected to the wireless network. Press 'Windows-R,' type 'cmd' and then click 'OK.' A command-line interface window opens.
2. Type 'ipconfig' (without the quotations) into the prompt and then press 'Enter' to view the connection details.
3. Review the information under Wireless LAN Adapter Wi-Fi and browse to the address listed next to Default Gateway.
4. Check the product label on your router to determine the default login credentials. Sign in to the router using the appropriate username and password.
5. Browse the menus to find the option to connect a device via WPS. The interface varies depending on the make, model and firmware version of your router.
6. Press the right arrow button on the printer's control panel. Select 'Setup,' select 'Network,' and then press 'Restore Network Defaults.'
7. Choose 'Yes' to reset the wireless configuration. Press the 'Home' button to return to the main screen.
8. Touch 'Setup | Network | Wi-Fi Protected Setup | PIN.' Press 'Start.' A PIN appears onscreen.
9. Enter the PIN into your router's interface within two minutes to connect the printer to the LAN.
Push-Button
1. Press the right arrow button on the control panel, touch 'Setup,' touch 'Network,' and then touch 'Restore Network Defaults.'
2. Select 'Yes,' when prompted, to remove the current settings. Press 'Home' to return to the main screen.
3. Touch 'Setup | Network | Wi-Fi Protected Setup | Push Button,' and then select 'Start.'
4. Push the WPS button on your router within two minutes to connect the HP Photosmart Plus to the network.
