How to Find an iMac IP Address

1. Go to the “Apple” menu in the upper left corner of your iMac window and open “System Preferences.”
2. Click on the “Network” icon.
3. Select a connected network port, such as the Ethernet, AirPort or modem, from the menu on the left side of the window.
4. Locate the IP address beneath “Status.”
