How to Print Wirelessly to a Printer

1. Connect your main computer to a wireless router, whether wirelessly or with an Ethernet cable. Connect the printer to the main computer with a USB cable. Ensure that the power is on for both the computer and the printer.
2. Click the 'Start' menu button on the main computer. Click the 'Control Panel' button. Choose 'Network and Sharing Center.'
3. Click 'Change Advanced Sharing Options' from the list on the left. Under 'File and Printer Sharing,' click 'Turn on File and Printer Sharing.' Click the 'Save Changes' button.
4. Power on the second computer. The computer may connect to the wireless router home network automatically. If not, open the 'Network and Sharing Center' on this computer as well by following the steps above. Click 'Connect to a Network.' Choose the wireless router from the list and enter a password if needed.
5. Open the file you want to print wirelessly. Click 'File' and choose 'Print.' Click the 'Name' drop-down box and choose the printer from the list. Click the 'OK' button to print the file with the printer connected to the wireless network.
